In this vid, Im not pretendig likes or unlikes, just to share my experience with (now) great car with aftermarket no-LOSI parts1_I got dissapointed on my first run (2s) lipo, I realiced a stupid hiper-sensitivity when breaking , due to the ESC (sure) Unless you know how to setup these stupid (again) clutch, you will need tons of spur gears Solution , change system radio to 2.4GHz GT2E cheap system, and install a programable ESC like Hobbyking 30A and add a fan , no metal spur is needed…. about 20 bucks2_ The motor combo is not intelligent, Esc has not cutt-off (I think) and the sesitivity Is horrible, the motor is good but…. the motor mount can not stand the motor position if you hit the car so many times , paid atention to the 2 screws position in the motor mount, they are not placed diametrically opposited, as a result motor mount can twist case of some crashes, due to the motor length (more length) more possibilities to twist …and destroy spurs ) Solution buy a 5600KV 24×30 mm brushless motor at banggood, or hobbyking 9 bucks a ammazing motor with 2S and 14T pinion, motor gets hot but doesnt reach water boiling point 100º celsius and very important , better acceleration despite high KV that doesnt strees 2200mAh lipo battery (very important)3_Now we arrive to the home-made hop up The transmision system really sucks, the dogbones based system is a mess system, that destrois the out drives and output yokes, and sincerously I dont pretend waste my money and my time dissasembling my Rc every moth, I customize the transmision system whith traxxas and team asso parts I still am using the original out put yokes because Im using a (soft) dogbone (1/18 team asso mini ) with a copper bar instead steel bar installed by me , as a result I only need to change the copper bar every 30-40 full runs and I only spend 5 minuts On the othe side (wheel side) I use a traxxas female drive saft and stub axes, these stub axes let me use standard 1/10 wheels beacause of the standard hole size that traxxas uses ( dissapointing point for LOSI again ) The only problem is to fix the male side (plastic-copper dogbone) with female traxxas drive shaft) well you can stik it , if the tramsmision works near to be horizontal there will not be a problem to be fixed (male and female) You can use as a male half thin dogbone, you only should to change the iron bar for copper bar , aluminium bar or another softer metal Finally I changed electronics possition due to ne ESC size , I placed the esc where the battery was, and the battery on the wing , that way car do wheelies easyer without loosing too much estability, of course you can place the new esc where old esc , but the fan will not work good if coveredAfter so many rusn and hits, I broke part of front diff case, not being able to tight the 2 screws I decide not replacind this part but fix it with flexible iron wire..see photoAnother upgrade was to change the spoiled (after only 10 runs) servo Another dissapointing ..point , I bought a 1/18 sized digital servo on hobbyking ..less dan 5 buksTotal money ESC +fan 20 Motor 9 servo 5 others 10 Radio system yet owned 25 Total amount …. to much for a new dissapointing car
